CALLING OUR OFFICE

Appointments can be made by:
  • Primary Care Physicians
  • Specialists
  • Patients
When contacting the office you will be greeted by an automated phone system. Please have paper and pen available so you may write down the information given to you. The options will direct you to:
  • Appointment Secretary
  • Physician's Voice Mail
  • Billing Department
  • Prescription Refill Line
Office Hours:
  • We are open Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • We are closed for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 pm
Our physicians are available 24 hours a day 7 days per week by calling the main phone number. You will reach our answering service if the office is closed. The answering service will page the on call physician.

We use an electronic medical record system and may have access to your primary care or specialists notes.

WHEN YOU VISIT US

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete your initial paperwork. Also, please bring the following:
  • List of current medications
  • Any recent MRI Films/CDs
  • Current Insurance card
  • Referral from primary care physician if required by your insurance company
  • Copay
  • Family member
  • An interpreter, if you do not speak English or Russian
Our office requires at least 24 hour cancellation notice. Failure to cancel an appointment or failure to show for an appointment will result in you being charged a $35.00 fee. This fee is not covered by your insurance company.

INSURANCE INFORMATION

Essex Neurological Associates participates with Medicare and most major insurance plans. You are responsible for co-payments and charges not covered by your insurance company. Questions regarding insurance benefits should be directed to your insurance company
